Italy’s legends have come out in force. With the Women’s 먹튀검증World Cup in New Zealand and Australia coming up in July, and with no deal in place in their home country for broadcast rights, they have come out in unison in support of a “must have” broadcast.
Luca Toni (45), Marco Materazzi (49), Andrea Pirlo (44), Gianluca Cambrotta (46), and Fabio Cannavaro (49+ Italy) have publicly stated that Italian broadcasters “must broadcast the Women’s World Cup” and that they “hope that a deal can be reached”.
“It doesn’t make sense not to buy the rights to the Women’s World Cup,” said Toni. It was amazing in 2019, it was so inspiring, and I want to see it again, and I want to see it on TV so I can watch it.”
Materazzi added: “The visibility of the Women’s World Cup is great. “I think it’s a shame that we can’t watch it on TV,” said Materazzi. “It’s the World Cup. There are a lot of people who dream of playing. I hope we get the rights so they can watch and be motivated.”
“I would love to see the Women’s World Cup on TV,” said Pirlo, “because as President Gianni Infantino (53-Switzerland) said, the women deserve respect, and I think the fans deserve to see it, too.
“I heard that Italy hasn’t bought the rights to the Women’s World Cup yet,” Zambrotta said. As President Infantino said, the women players deserve to be respected and I would love to be able to support them in front of my TV.”
“The World Cup is everyone’s dream,” says Cannavaro. “The women have to be respected, they’ve put everything on the line for their dreams, they’ve given it their all, and I want to see it on TV,” said Cannavaro. I want to see it on TV.”
