Yesterday at around 5pm, a car driven by a 78-year-old man hit a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old female student walking on the sidewalk.

The two girls were taken to the hospital in critical condition, and the 14-year-old girl died while receiving treatment.

The driver also suffered a broken rib and was taken to the hospital, but it was reported that there was no danger to life.

A police official explained, “The driver violated the traffic light but was not intoxicated.”

On the 11th, in Nam-gu, Daegu, a woman in her 20s jumped from the roof of a shopping mall on the 5th floor, and it was belatedly known that she fell on top of a woman in her 80s passing by.

Both of them were seriously injured in the accident and are said to be in critical condition.
