As a result of monitoring trends in Korean beef consumption, it was found that as of last year, the cost of eating out Korean beef was 53,000 won per person, a decrease of 8,200 won from the previous year.

It was found that 7 out of 10 consumers who eat out with beef at least once a month ate ‘grilled meat’, followed by ‘steak’ and ‘seasoned bulgogi’.

Hanwoo meat intake per capita at eating out was 297.9g, down 35.7g from the previous year.

Regarding the grade of Hanwoo beef eaten when dining out, ‘1+’ was the most common answer at 52.2%, followed by ‘1’ and ‘1++’.
